In 1994 I started a web service. The web server was running Windows NT and IIS was custom built. I still remeber getting calls from people asking us how come our stuff was so fast. But never in my wildest dreams would I ever think the Internet would be nominated for The Nobel Peace Prize.
If you wish to support the effort to get the Internet the award join Internet for Peace. Good luck to the Internet. I think it deserves to win. Of course that leaves an open question what or who gets the prize?
