The other day I did a screencast for folks on .NET 4 Beta 2. In it, I discuss profiles and deployment options. It is slated to go on Channel 9 sometime after PDC. I got a couple of questions and want to answer those here.
Include in .NET Framework 4 is the Chart controls so you no longer need a separate download. This is actually two components an ASP.NET and WinForm controls. The WinForm control is include in the Client Profile as well. The Chart control handles a lot of charts including line, point, pie, and more (36 types of charts).
This is a control for viewing reports and is included in Visual Studio. It is not installed by .NET 4 since it is not considered part of the Framework.
