iPeace

OK I could not resist saying iPeace. Steve Jobs has announced an SDK for developers and it should be pretty open to legitimate developers.

So was this in the works all along. I don't think so, Jobs was pretty passionate about developers writing web based applications for the phone. I think the basic misstep with this last ROM update forced them to open the platform at least from a software point of view.

Now I wonder if the Compact Framework team would be kind enough to port CF to the iPhone. I just don't want to have to dust off using C++ or Java.
